| Biography : | She completed her MA and master's degree in Arts (Ph.D.) Programs at the Istanbul Technical University, Institute of Social Sciences, Major Arts Branch of Fine Arts, Musical Arts Branch. She gave concerts in national and international concert programs as a three and four-string classical kemancha virtuoso. Together with the country's music masters, she performed in many national and international concerts and made recordings lps, cassettes, cds and dvds. She was also individually invited as a solist to TVs, radios, concert programs, conferences, presentations and panel discussion. Her articles were published in national and international academic and peer reviewed journals. Due to her successful activities in her career, she was awarded the Rotary Association's Most Successful Female Musician of the Year in 2015. In addition to her work in various ensembles, she continues to perform as a conductor and performance artist in the ‘LALEZAR Classical Turkish Music Ensemble‘ and ‘Cüneyd ORHON Classical Kemencha Group’. Currently, she works as Lecturer of Classical Kemencha at the ITU - Turkish Music State Conservatory. |
