Biography:

He was born in 1990 in Istanbul. Between 2002-2005, he took instrument lessons from Fuat İkiz, a Turkish saz player on TRT Radio. In 2007, he started working on the techniques of Bağlama with-without plectrum in Erol Parlak Music Center. In 2008, he was accepted to the Department of Musicology at İ.T.Ü TMDK. In 2009, he took part in the album called "Girizgâh" by Devri Alem Music Ensemble. In 2010, he worked with Arif Sağ, Erdal Erzincan and Cihangir Terzi in Arif Sağ Master Class. Between 2010 and 2011, he took part in the European Union Project “Ideogram Project". In 2010-2011 he participated in Turkish Traditional Art Cultural Projects / Cappadocia Nights project. Between 2011-2012 he joined in Folk Music Pedagogy Project. Between the years 2009-2014, the Istanbul Baglama Quartet was found in many concerts and performances. In 2013, he completed his bachelor's degree in Musicology department. In the same year, he was accepted to ITU Musicology master program. Between the years of 2016-2018, he worked as a Bağlama teacher at the Universal Arts Music Center and Istanbul Technical University Conservatory Music Education Courses. He completed her MA degree in Musicology in 2018. In the same year, he has continued PhD education at Istanbul Technical University Department of Musicology and Music Theory. Currently, he is teaching at Istanbul Technical University.
